The Reigning King of Mathematical Comedy Defends his Crown
Little Mathletics.
Australia beaten by Kazakhstan, Moldova and New Zealand
The greatest sporting country - Australia, is falling off the pace when it comes to maths. Look at our shameful performance at last year’s International Mathematical Olympiad. We had our butts whipped by the likes of New Zealand – what a disgrace! But Australians can change.
We can be the best!
How we will regain our Glory
Through an hour of high-energy performance, Simon will coach Australia’s rising stars to realise their true mathematical potential. The audience will learn the skills to play maths with their sporting instincts. What it means to work as a team against an equation. Why it is their intellectual obligation to exploit every loophole and bend every rule in sport and maths because winning is everything. Assisting in this highly visual and interactive endeavor will be the musical addition of Raceless from Aussie avante hip-hop pioneers Curse OV Dialect. After all, the 48th International Mathematical Olympiad is only one year away…
It’s time to get back to basics. It’s time for Little Mathletics.

Jet Of Blood - At the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

‘Surreal avant-garde perfection… a genuinely profound experience’
THE AGE
‘Reckless and exuberant… an excellent production’ THE HERALD SUN
2006 MELBOURNE FRINGE FESTIVAL AWARD WINNER - “Best Ensemble”
Shocking, bizarre, erotic, disturbing, thrilling, hilarious.
After 80 years, Antonin Artaud’s nightmarish vision, thought by many to be unperformable, is brought bursting to life in this stunning, critically acclaimed debut production by Melbourne based company, Ignite.
A young man falls asleep and wakes to find himself in the surreal landscape of his subconscious. Jet of Blood is the story of Everyman's journey towards self-realisation.
Written in 1926, Artaud’s Jet of Blood is either a work of genius or the ravings of a madman. Out of three and a half pages of fantastical stage directions and explosive dialogue, director Olivia Allen and company have conjured a strange and wonderful theatrical experience that had Melbourne audiences enthralled.
Antonin Artaud's surrealist classic Jet of Blood is the inaugural production of Ignite, a company of WAAPA and VCA graduates. In just four years, the young team has already accrued an impressive range of individual credits with such companies as Melbourne's MTC and Malthouse theatres, Sydney's Belvoir Street and Bell Shakespeare and Perth’s Black Swan Theatre Company.
